…It was in that exact moment that I realized it was time to fulfil the great ambition I had been thinking about for years: to promote the Truffle of the Upper Tiber Valley.
A page from an herbal dating from the 1500s by Mattioli inspired Saverio Biaconi to create a museum devoted to the truffle within the walls of the company. Since 2002, this small museum has housed Saverio’s collection of tools, books, and curiosities, born of his passion for the truffle, the precious fruit of Umbria’s rich earth.
